Acceptance of Study Leave or Training Request Letter


Letter template from an employer to an employee confirming the employers acceptance of a study leave request. The letter template allows for additions to be made to cover further details of the training or studies to be undertaken during the study leave period, as well as any contractual changes that the employer may require in order for the employee’s working practices to be altered to encorporate study leave (for example, this may include working hours and working days). Employers should also consider whether they will be supporting the employee with training or exam expenses, and if so this may be included as additional wording within this letter if there is not another agreement in place with the employee to cover study/exam support.
